Fisk Studio - Ceramics

We have spent most of the summer setting up our temporary ceramcis center at Fisk Farm.

This comfortable space will host a fully functional glass and  ceramics studio. When in full operation there will be: 

• 10 wheels,
• 2 slab rollers,
• pugging mixers,
• lockers for private storage,
• gas and electric kilns for ceramics and glass.
• and much more.

CAC offers classes and independent study for students and artists of all levels.  Bailey air cleaners keep our air quiality high and Cinks keep our waste water clean and reduce water usage.

CAC has a state of the art Blaauw gas kiln that fires oxidation, reduction, carbon trap and neutral to all cones level.  Our temporary space at Fisk Studio also offers a Blaauw auto reduction kiln.  We also have a variety of electric kilns at both locations.  We can accommodate any firing to meet your needs.

CAC offers the full line of  Rovin clays for your use.  

The ceramic class fees includes a weekly time slot of instruction, 25# of clay, glazes and a firing package to cover the class.  Depending on the class, there is also open studio time.  You can purchase additional clay and firing space to cover that additional clay at a cost of 4 cents per cubic inch.  The cost of firing includes 2 firings, the first to bisque and the second to final glaze fire.  The firing cost also covers use of the studio glazes.
